Gerttu Pilsas Chief Executive Officer Gerttu has been leading Positium as CEO since 2021, overseeing the company's operations, growth, and international partnerships. She has extensive project experience in mobile positioning data engagements across the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and Estonia, covering areas such as official statistics, population analysis, and registry data validation. |
Margus Tiru Member of the Board Margus has more than 20 years of experience with location data analysis, GIS, Mobile Big Data and new data sources for official statistics. At Positium, he has been working on the development of our methodology and data models as Chief Data Officer. Margus is an active member of the UN Committee of Experts on Big Data and Data Science for Official Statistics. |
Erki Saluveer Member of the Board Erki has been developing methodologies and systems for turning a telecom operator’s anonymised raw location data into new insights on crowd mobility since the early days of Positium. He has also been contributing to academic discussions in the field and has participated in a number of international projects as a field expert. At Positium, he is now responsible for the financial side of things. |

Siim Esko International Project Development Lead Siim works with major public sector institutions across Asia, Africa, and South America, helping them utilise mobile network data for improved decision-making. Leading international business development at Positium, he plays a key role in expanding our global footprint. He holds graduate degrees in international business and economics from Copenhagen and Vienna. Additionally, Siim actively contributes to the UN Committee of Experts on Big Data and Data Science for Official Statistics. | Samet Bayram GIS Business Developer samet.bayram@positium.com Samet is engaged in business development where he assists in identifying and pursuing new opportunities while supporting strategic initiatives. He also contributes to project-related tasks and oversees our GIS tender processes, ensuring they are managed efficiently and meet the required standards. An expert in requirements analysis and business development, Priit leads strategic sales and R&D initiatives that turn complex customer challenges into secure, data-driven solutions. |

She is the main point of contact for partners in Dubai, Kazakhstan, Oman, and Estonia, keeping projects on track and making sure the technical content reaches non-technical stakeholders in a clear and accessible way. Karin's background spans project and operations management in both Estonia and the UK. | Mathias-Erik Tempel Project Manager Mathias-Erik manages projects where mobile positioning data is applied in the fields of statistics, mobility, and transport. His current portfolio spans projects in Estonia, Lithuania, Mongolia, and India, covering areas such as international development, road network analytics, and transport modelling. He makes sure that development and analysis teams, partners, and clients stay aligned and moving at the same pace. |
Jüri Tarkpea Chief Product Officer Jüri works on Positium's product strategy — thinking through what data products and services the market actually needs, how to structure and price them, and how mobile network operators can unlock value from mobile positioning data. He keeps an eye on market developments, shapes cooperation models with operators, and connects Positium's product and sales processes. |
