Positium is a data analytics company from Tartu, Estonia. We are the only company in the world specialising in mobile positioning data for official statistics. Founded in 2003, we have more than two decades of experience working with global clients and scientists alike. Our aim is to contribute to improving the quality of life worldwide by helping to enable data-driven decisions, offering methods and solutions for extracting trustworthy knowledge from mobile positioning data.
Our team is composed of seasoned employees, some of whom have been with the company since its early beginnings. The staff at Positium brings diverse expertise from various fields such as computer science, statistics, spatial analysis and geographical information systems, and have applied their trade in application areas such as official statistics, tourism, urban and transport planning, migration and others.
